Sizing your ring
When you're ordering a ring online it's obviously important to choose the right size. "How do I do that?" you ask?
The best way to insure that your getting the right size without trying a ring on is with a professional ring sizer. I suggest you visit a local jewelry store and ask them to determine your ring size for you. They may want to sell you a ring to go with that sizing but you must resist! :) In fact you could even go to two different jewelry stores just to be sure your getting an accurate answer.
What if I don't live near a jewelry store? You can buy a ring sizer online and do it yourself. if you do buy a ring sizer I suggest you get the metal sizer, not the cheaper plastic one as it may not be as accurate.
When sizing men's rings, keep in mind that men tend to want their rings to fit looser, however for a ring that they will wear everyday it needs to be a little snugger so that it doesn't slip off and get lost.
It is especially important to get the right size for tungsten or titanium rings as they are very difficult to resize.
I hope that helps you in your ring sizing and happy hunting for that perfect ring!
